Additional Terms
These Additional Terms (the “Additional Terms”) form part of EZO Terms of Service available at ezo.io/terms-of-service/ (“Main Terms”). Unless otherwise defined, terms used in these Additional Terms shall have the same meaning as described in the Main Terms. In the event of a conflict between the Additional Terms and the Main Terms, the Additional Terms shall prevail.
We may from time to time update these Additional Terms by posting a notice at this page, which constitutes a notice to you. By continuing to use the Service following a Last Update date, you agree to the updated Additional Terms.
1. EZO AI Terms (Last Update: October 15, 2024)
1.1. We may process Your Content to train our machine learning models, artificial intelligence, or related technologies, provided we ensure that: (i) none of Your Content is shared with any other customers; and (ii) EZO undertakes reasonable efforts to anonymize or filter information not related for training purposes. For the avoidance of doubt, you retain all ownership rights to Your Content, and EZO retains all Intellectual Property Rights to its machine learning algorithm and associated user experience information. You may opt out of having Your Content used in training data sets by emailing support@ezo.io. The opt-out does not apply to data collected before your opt-out request.
1.2. As part of the Service, we may offer features that use artificial intelligence (“AI-powered features”). Additional terms apply when you use the following AI-powered features:
- EZO-bot. When interacting with the EZO-bot, you are engaging with a generative AI system. EZO-bot does not access your account or any part of Your Content, instead only uses the EZO Knowledge Base to answer questions related to functionality of the Service. You and your Authorized Users should avoid providing EZO-bot any Sensitive Information or Personal Data.
- Item Recommendation System. When you use Item Recommendation System, we use machine learning to provide recommendations based on usage patterns within a User Account. To ensure privacy of Your Content, the Item Recommendation System only operates on an individual account basis. Account Owners can disable the Item Recommendation System through the settings page at any time.
1.3. Limitations. AI-powered features may generate inaccurate or incomplete results. Therefore, you should verify the results generated by AI-powered features before taking action or making decisions. AI-powered features may be removed without notice and are not subject to Service Availability Commitments.
2. AssetSonar Agent (Last Updated: October 15, 2024)
If you use AssetSonar, EZO offers AssetSonar Agent that may be installed on your devices to facilitate interoperation of the Service with your devices, hardware, or other software installed on your devices. The AssetSonar Agent may include code licensed under third-party licensing agreement, including open source (“Open Source Terms”). A copy of the Open Source Terms are available whenever the AssetSonar Agent is downloaded and installed on a device. To the extent not restricted in Open Source Terms, the Main Terms shall apply to your use of AssetSonar Agent. The Open Source Terms only apply with respect to AssetSonar Agent, but no other component of the Service or other products provided by EZO.
