Additional Terms

These Additional Terms (the “Additional Terms”) form part of EZO Terms of Service available at ezo.io/terms-of-service/ (“Main Terms”). Unless otherwise defined, terms used in these Additional Terms shall have the same meaning as described in the Main Terms. In the event of a conflict between the Additional Terms and the Main Terms, the Additional Terms shall prevail.
We may from time to time update these Additional Terms by posting a notice at this page, which constitutes a notice to you. By continuing to use the Service following a Last Update date, you agree to the updated Additional Terms.
1. EZO AI Terms
1.1. We may process Your Content to train machine learning models, artificial intelligence, or related technologies, provided that none of Your Content is shared with any other customer. The Customer may request that Your Content may not be included in AI model training by submitting a request via email to EZO’s support team at support@ezo.io. Opting-out does not apply to data collected before the opt-out request.
1.2. As part of the Service, we may offer features that make use of artificial intelligence models and similar or related services (“AI-Powered Features”). AI-Powered Features shall be identified throughout the Service with a
symbol. You retain ownership of Your Content submitted and the output generated by AI-Powered Features that is derived from Your Content. EZO retains ownership of system performance metrics, machine learning algorithms, and the aggregated results of such model training and machine learning. You further acknowledge and agree that:
1.2.1. Some AI-Powered Features rely on generative AI (“GAI”);
1.2.2. GAI generates content that is probabilistic in nature and may produce inaccurate or misleading information, including hallucinations;
1.2.3. due to the nature of machine learning, GAI outputs may not be unique and could be identical or generate similar output across different customers;
1.2.4. You will not provide or upload any Sensitive Information to AI-Powered Features;
1.2.5. unless it is clear from the context, you must disclose to end users that AI-Powered Features are machine-based and not human;
1.2.6. AI-Powered Features may generate inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading results. You are responsible for verifying the results generated by AI-Powered Features before taking any action or making any decision; and
1.2.7. AI-Powered Features may be removed without notice and are not subject to Service Availability Commitments.
2. Open Source Terms
If you use any of the EZO products, EZO may, from time to time, make available external software components, including, but not limited to downloadable software, integrations with the Service, feature enhancements etc., to facilitate the furtherance of the Service (“Software Components”). These Software Components may include code licensed under third-party licensing agreements, including open source technologies (“Open Source Terms”). Wherever legally required, a copy of the Open Source Terms shall be available whenever the Software Components are downloaded and installed on a device and/or an open source feature is enabled through Account Settings. To the extent not restricted in Open Source Terms, the Main Terms shall apply to your use of such Software Components. The Open Source Terms only apply with respect to the Software Components licensed under open source license terms, and do not apply to the EZO software products or Service as a whole.
