Ayesha Haq

Ayesha Haq is Senior Associate In-House Counsel at EZO, where she advises the organization on data privacy, commercial contracts, corporate law, employment matters, trademark law, and information security. Her work includes interpreting regulatory requirements such as the GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA and helping translate them into practical policies, contractual safeguards, and compliance processes.

As a practicing attorney and CQI IRCA-certified Information Security Management System Lead Auditor, Ayesha brings both legal and information security perspectives to her writing. She covers topics including SaaS compliance, privacy risk, artificial intelligence regulation, information security governance, and the legal responsibilities of organizations adopting new technologies.

Ayesha earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and her law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Her writing draws on her firsthand experience advising a global SaaS business and helping teams navigate evolving legal, privacy, and security requirements.
