Zubair Murtaza is Vice President of Product Management at EZO, where he leads product and business innovation across the company’s asset intelligence and management portfolio.
Zubair brings extensive experience building, scaling, and transforming technology businesses. Before joining EZO, he served as Vice President of eCommerce for Staples America, where he helped move an $8 billion business toward AI-powered, personalized solution experiences. Earlier in his career, he worked at Microsoft, contributing to the development and growth of six technology businesses and the company’s transition toward online services and Microsoft Azure.
Drawing on his background in software engineering, cloud technology, eCommerce, and product leadership, Zubair writes about artificial intelligence, automation, SaaS product strategy, enterprise technology, and asset intelligence. His work explores how organizations can use intelligent, user-centered software to simplify complex operations and make more informed decisions.
Zubair holds two master’s degrees in engineering and an MBA from the University of Chicago. His combination of technical expertise, business leadership, and firsthand product development experience enables him to provide credible perspectives on emerging technology and the future of enterprise software.
