Why It Matters
Linking workflows directly from a form submission ensures that complex requests instantly generate the required records—whether that’s a standard ticket, a problem, or a change request—without any manual agent intervention or manual routing.
How to Set It Up
- Access the Destinations: Navigate to Administration → Forms, open the specific form you want to configure, and click on the Destinations tab.
- Choose Routing Actions: Choose your primary routing action by clicking Add Ticket, Add Problem, or Add Change.
- Configure the Details: Within these setups, you can apply specific Templates (this is where your form templates are utilized), define the assigned Actors, and link Associated Items.
- Trigger Additional Actions: Use the available toggles to instantly generate a Followup, a Task, or an Approval request alongside the main record.
- Set Conditions (Optional): You can set specific conditions that dictate exactly when these tickets or tasks should be created based on how the user answered the form. If no conditions are set, the system will simply generate the records every single time the form is submitted.
Next Steps
Submit a test request using a form with multiple Destinations configured to verify that the system automatically assigns the expected tasks and applies the correct templates.
