The EZRentOut mobile app has also drastically improved field operations by enabling on-the-go changes, processing payments, and capturing signatures electronically. While Chris notes some areas for UI improvement, the app has been a major upgrade over previous solutions. 

Currently, Burke’s Pharmacy inspects equipment upon return and services long-term rentals in the field. While the business has yet to completely utilize EZRentOut’s maintenance tracking features, Chris sees this as a good opportunity to streamline workflows as operations expand.

Burke’s Pharmacy has already experienced significant wins with EZRentOut, with even greater potential on the horizon. Chris is particularly enthusiastic about the platform’s future capabilities, including the full integration of web store operations, streamlined management of online paperwork, and seamless availability tracking via the calendar. These features are expected to significantly reduce labor hours and enhance overall efficiency once fully implemented. 

Additionally, EZRentOut provides the scalability Burke’s Pharmacy needs as it prepares to double its locations, offering flexible integrations to support the company’s growth. Goals for the future

Looking ahead, Chris has ambitious goals for leveraging EZRentOut to its full potential. One of the main objectives is to fully utilize the web store for bookings at all locations by next summer, ensuring a seamless experience for customers and staff alike. Chris also aims to significantly improve efficiency through adopting automated workflows. 

When asked how much their business process has improved after using EZRentOut, Chris adds, “I think it is going to be probably 30% more efficient once we’ve fully implemented it.” 

Another priority is to enhance maintenance tracking and simplify inventory transfers between locations, addressing current operational challenges. Additionally, expanding the dashboard and reporting customization is on the agenda, enabling more data-driven decision-making as the business grows.

The future outlook

Burke’s Pharmacy is opening two more locations next year and is looking forward to managing multiple locations remotely and tracking operations in real-time with EZRentOut.
