Yes, we offer a 10% discount program for all 501(c)(3) organizations. This includes all non profit and educational institutions.
Of course. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your account at any point in time. There are no extra charges. The option is available under Settings → Billing.
For each Device license, AssetSonar includes licenses to track five IT Peripherals, Software Licenses, and/or Domains. More Details.
  • IT Peripherals are Items that connect to a computer, such as monitors, scanners, or portable storage, or IT inventory. If additional Item licenses are required, you can easily increase the Device count.
AssetSonar is GDPR compliant, which allows our customers to adhere to stronger data protection standards just by using the product to track their assets and employee utilization. This means that AssetSonar is not only GDPR compliant itself, but also enables its customers (as Data Controllers) to become GDPR compliant. For more information, read our blog on GDPR Compliance.
In addition European customers can have their AssetSonar account hosted on our European Union AWS instance. This ensures all customer data is resident within the EU. Selecting an EU instance requires contacting sales and may involve a license fee surcharge due to higher hosting costs.
Devices: Devices refer to all endpoints that are either running our ITAM Agent or are imported into AssetSonar via Network Discovery or our third-party integrations with device management solutions like JAMF, Kandji, Microsoft SCCM and Intune, Google Endpoint Management. These devices can be IT Assets (laptops, desktop computers, or Chromebooks that are running Windows, Mac, Linux, or Chrome OS), Network Devices (hubs, routers, switches etc.), and Mobile Devices (iOS, Android devices).

Note:All active Devices count for licensing purposes. Once a Device is retired, it no longer counts towards the license limit.
Admin: Administrator (or Admin) licenses are part of AssetSonar pricing. We have three types of Admins as listed below:

Account Owner Administrator Supervisor

Agent: An Agent is typically a support agent or IT technician responsible for responding to tickets and requests made to the IT team. They can view and take many but not all actions on items.
Staff User: A Staff User is typically an employee, student or end-user who is registered as a custodian of an item. Staff Users have limited access rights and can take specific actions on Items. AssetSonar offers a granular ability to define Custom Roles to match your team’s needs. The Agent role can be expanded to provide additional Admin function. Contact Sales or your Solutions Consultant to learn more. An additional per Agent licensing fee may be required. For more detail on roles see our Help article.

All pricing is in USD (US Dollars).
Each subscription package has a limit for items that you can track. This limit is a sum of all uniquely identifiable Assets, Asset Stock and Inventory. Individual stock quantities do not count towards the package limit.
Assets: All active assets count towards the package limit. This does not include retired assets.
Asset Stock: All Asset Stock items count towards the package limit but each item’s stock quantity is not taken into account. For example, if you want to track 500 chairs and 200 tables, your total Asset Stock count is 2, not 700.
Inventory: All Inventory items count towards the package limit but each item’s stock quantity is not taken into account. For example, if you want to track 100 juice boxes, 50 pens, and 50 notepads, your Inventory count is 3, not 200.
EZOfficeInventory is GDPR compliant, which allows our customers to adhere to stronger data protection standards just by using the product to track their assets and employee utilization. There are 3 types of paid users in EZO CMMS:
Administrators: They can view and take actions on all Items regardless of their location, group or arbitration settings. You can have multiple Admins per account to suit your business workflows.

Work Supervisor: A Supervisor has all the permissions of an Administrator but only for members in their user listing. They can create, route, review and update Work Orders.

Technicians: Technicians are mainly responsible for carrying out work assigned to them. They report directly to the supervisor, can do work, and send work orders for review when completed. Also, technicians can reserve, check-in, and acknowledge custody of assigned items.
There is only one type of unpaid user in EZO CMMS:
Staff Users: They have very limited access to the system as compared to other users. They can only request work, receive and request custody.
Under our fair usage policy, each paid user is entitled to manage 1000 items, with a cap of 20 paid users. Please note that non-login users are excluded from this policy.
Yes, you can add and remove users at any time. Subscription charges for new or removed users will be prorated based on the number of days left in your current subscription.
Yes, all customers have access to our support resources. Email and phone support is available during US business hours. You will also have access to our customer success team and dedicated solutions consultant that will help you maintain a successful CMMS implementation to help you get maximum productivity and value from the solution.
