EZRentOut release notes November 2019

The team at EZRentOut rolled out some exciting updates this November. Here’s everything you need to get up to speed with our upgrades, from the Trackunit Integration and Expense Line Items report to customizing the Low Stock Alerts page and much more!

1. Trackunit Integration

EZRentOut’s integration with Trackunit enables real-time reliable GPS tracking of your rental items, no matter where they are. With the simple map view, you can also keep an eye on the locations of your devices at a single glance. Eliminate equipment loss and ensure that each item reaches its intended destination.

2. Tracking Order Expenses

Keeping track of all the costs going into completing an order is hard work, from preparing it for shipment to finally dispatching it. Our Order Expenses Add On now allows you to do just this. Easily maintain a log of expenses to keep an eye on the total amount you’re spending.

3. Expense Line Items report

With the Expense Line Items report, generate a detailed report of all the costs you’ve incurred when preparing Line Items within every Order for dispatch. This helps you understand the cost that goes into each Line Item, and whether it is profitable to continue stocking it or not.

4. Selling items via Webstore Plugin

Before, your customers were limited to only renting out items from your Webstore. But with our latest update, now you can sell items on the Webstore too! This means customers can buy Asset, Asset Stock and Inventory from your online store if you enable them to do so.

5. Custom retire reasons

EZRentOut gives you a list of predefined reasons for retiring an item. However, we understand that this list doesn’t encapsulate every possible reason. Different companies have different reasons for retiring items. This is why you can now add custom reasons as well when retiring items.

6. Customizing Low Stock Alerts page

Add and remove columns on the Low Stock Alerts page to suit your needs. For example, if you need to display which vendor is responsible for restocking particular items, you can simply add a custom field for it.

That’s all for now folks! For more assistance on our rental management software, reach out to us at support@ezo.io
