Items that are a part of any drafted cart or have been reserved cannot be added to a package. Essentially, items in a pending state (reserved, in a drafted cart or assets under maintenance) will remain unsearchable in the search bar while drafting a package.
For instance, the following assets are part of a drafted cart.
They will not appear in the search bar if searched using their AIN as shown below:
