To trigger an alert whenever the inventory or asset stock quantity falls below the specified amount, you have to enable Low Stock Threshold Alerts. Enable them by going to Alerts –> Items (Alert type) –> Low Stock Threshold Alert.
Once enabled, you’ll receive an alert every time the total stock quantity hits a value below the set threshold. This alert helps notify companies about low inventory and stock asset levels so they can be replenished in a timely manner. Learn more.
When will you get an alert?
Say, you have a quantity of 100 for inventory item #14 (water bottles) and you’ve set the low stock threshold to ’10’. Whenever the total stock quantity hits ‘9’ for the remaining water bottles, you’ll receive a low stock threshold alert.
Location stock threshold works the same way! You’ll receive an alert when total quantity of inventory or asset stock at that particular location hits a value below the set threshold.
