EZO’s August 2021 release notes highlight exciting new features and enhancements designed to further streamline your operations. For faster, more efficient issue resolution, admins can now take actions on assets directly within Zendesk.
Expedite workflows by quickly checking the availability status of your Items right from the dashboard and as part of integration enhancements, map custom attributes from G Suite into EZO. Read the complete August 2021 Release Notes to learn more:
Carry out a quick  search to check whether an Item  is available, reserved or checked out with the Check  Availability button on the Dashboard. The ability to quickly  check  availability will help save time spent in tracking down Items for projects and tasks. 
2. Take direct actions in Zendesk
Administrators and Agents can now take direct actions in Zendesk for faster issue resolution. For both Asset and Asset Stock in Zendesk, they can run service events and perform check-in/checkout. All actions taken in Zendesk are automatically updated in Item history within EZO.
3. Inventory costing and valuation
Record accurate inventory cost with the  valuation method that best suits your business needs. Use First in First Out (FIFO), Average Cost Method (AVCO) or Default Stock price to list inventory items and determine monetary value  and profits. 
4. G Suite custom role mapping
Define organizational hierarchy by mapping and importing custom attributes  in EZO from G Suite User Directory. Having access to company specific information in EZO streamlines task management and resource allocation. 
Run streamlined functions for user listings by improving stock visibility across roles. Simply add stock locations as default locations on the User Listings page for full visibility.
Map custom roles in EZO into SAML for accurate delegation of responsibilities. Direct provisioning of roles across applications improves staff performance and productivity.
