EZRentOut Feature Release Notes – December 2023

Release Notes - DEC '23

As we bid farewell to 2023, we have enhanced your rental workflow experience on EZRentOut with new features.

You can take control of your returns on the inventory sold with your rentals. You can also customize the system fields on the Order detail page to view only the information you need.

The main page of Orders and Bundles now is equipped with a dedicated search to quickly get the information you need.

Additionally, we have also enhanced invoice mapping in the Xero integration with EZRentOut.

Here are the details:

1. Return sold inventory

You can now process sales returns of inventory items from the Order detail page. Simply select the number of days within which the item can be returned. The sale return can be managed completely or partially, during “Rented Out” or “Returned” states. Additionally, you can also allow Staff users to return sold items.

2. Customize fields in the Orders detail page

For the Order details page, you now have complete control over the visibility of fields. Go to Customize > Custom Fields, and under System Fields, you can check which fields you want visible. Choose fields that are meaningful to you, your workflow, and your business.

3. Dedicated search bars in Orders and Bundles

The main pages of Orders and Bundles have dedicated search modules for you to quickly find the right information at the right time. The search makes it easy for you to instantly access the Order or the Bundle you want to view.

4. Enhancements to invoice mapping in Xero integration

The Xero accounting integration has been updated with a few enhancements in invoice mapping. New invoices in Xero are now mapped to invoice headings and not the invoice number. In the printout templates, a column has been added to cater to invoice headings.
