What is the difference between Asset Retirement and Asset Deletion?

Asset retirement deactivates an asset from our system. Retired assets do not count towards the subscription package limit and cannot be actively used.
Asset deletion permanently deletes an asset from the system, including checkout history, service details, comments etc.
